Robert
Amman |
Robert J. Amman joined GTS as a member of the board of directors in May 1998.
Amman became President and Chief Operating Officer in April 1999. He became
Chairman and CEO in September 2000. Before his work at GTS, his most recent
operating experience in telecommunications was as vice chairman and chief
operating officer of First Financial Management Corporation from 1994 to 1995,
where he had responsibility for the US$2 billion Merchant Service Group.
As president and chief executive officer of Western Union from 1988 to 1994,
Amman was responsible for turning an unprofitable telecommunications company
into a highly profitable, rapidly growing US$900 million revenue company, which
was sold to First Financial.
From 1995 to 1998,
Amman
was chairman, chief executive officer and president of John H. Harland Company.
Amman's earlier positions were as president of Bunker Ramo, senior vice
president of Mohawk Data Science Corporation, and president and chief executive
officer of Wiltek. He began his career with Bell Laboratories.

Duncan Lewis
President
and Chief Operating Officer
Duncan
Lewis joined GTS in January 2001 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He is
also President of Ebone. Lewis is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the
company in particular focusing on Ebone. Lewis joined GTS as a member of the
Board of Directors in May 2001. Prior to joining GTS, Duncan Lewis was Chief
Corporate Development Officer of Equant n.v. Previously Lewis was Chief
Executive Officer, Mercury Communications, in 1994 where he was responsible for
the development and implementation of a strategy and organisation focused around
micro-markets. He has held a variety of positions within BT and Granada Media
and has over 20 years experience within the telecommunications sector.

Robert A. Schriesheim |
Robert
A. Schriesheim joined GTS as executive vice president and chief corporate
development officer in February 1999. In September 1999 he was appointed chief
financial officer. Schriesheim joined GTS as a member of the Board of Directors
in May 2001. Schriesheim has a 10-year track record in maximising shareholder
value through a variety of corporate development and finance initiatives,
primarily in the telecommunications and information services industries. Over 50
percent of these activities have been outside North America.
Schriesheim joined GTS from SBC Equity Partners, Inc., (SBCEP) in Chicago, a
private equity firm affiliated with Sanwa Bank, where he was president and
founding chief executive officer. Before his work at SBCEP, Schriesheim was vice
president of corporate business development for Ameritech and managing director
of Ameritech Development Corporation. At Ameritech, he managed a US$50 million
venture capital subsidiary focused on investments in strategically related
communications, media and e-commerce companies.
Previously, Schriesheim worked at A C Nielsen Corporation, where he held
positions as vice president of global corporate development and vice president
of acquisitions and new business development. He also worked in a number of
executive planning, finance and deal-making positions at Brooke Group Ltd., a
leveraged buyout firm and holding company, and at Western Union, a Brooke
portfolio company.
Schriesheim received an MBA in finance and business economics from the
University of Chicago and an AB in chemistry from
Princeton
University.
Grier C. Raclin
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Company Secretary
Grier C. Raclin is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Company Secretary with overall responsibility for the legal structure of the company and for enforcing and establishing its legal standards. Raclin joined GTS as senior vice president of external affairs and as general counsel in September 1997. He was elected corporate secretary of the company in December 1997. In October 2000, he became executive vice president and chief administration officer, as well as general counsel and corporate secretary.
Before joining GTS, Raclin was vice chairman and a managing partner of the Washington, D.C., office of Gardner, Carton & Douglas, a 250-attorney United States corporate law firm, where his practice focused on international telecommunications. Raclin received his undergraduate and law degrees from Northwestern University and attended the Executive Program at the University of Chicago School of Business.
Gerard J Caccappolo
President of Ebone, North America
Gerard J Caccappolo joined GTS Europe, B.V. (formerly know as Hermes Europe Railtel, B.V.) in January 1995 as Director of Marketing and Sales with responsibility for market and customer segmentation, services development and pricing and sales strategies. In June 1999 Caccappolo was named President of Carrier Services. He became President of Ebone, North America in February 2001.
Before joining GTS, Caccappolo was Vice President of Marketing and Sales,
International Carriers, for Ascom Timeplex Equipment, a telecommunications
equipment manufacturer. He also held a number of executive positions at Bell
Atlantic Corporation and AT&T.
Louis T.
Toth
CEO,
Central Europe Unit
Louis T. Toth joined GTS as senior vice president of Central Europe in July 1993. He has been instrumental in building and growing the company’s presence in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Romania, making GTS the leading independent telecommunications services company across the region.
From February 1987 to July 1991 Toth served as president of Dynaforce, Inc. and as partner and general manager for the pan-European division of Andlinger & Company. Toth has 23 years of telecommunications experience with ITT Corporation in Europe, Latin America and Asia
